This Privacy Policy explains how [Company Legal Name] ("Scooty ERP", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when a dealership ("Customer", "you", "your showroom") uses our software, and how that relates to the personal data of the Customer's own end customers ("End Customers") that gets entered into the system.
Account & billing data (you are the data subject): your name, phone number, email, business address, GST number, and subscription payment references (UPI UTR numbers, payment screenshots) when you sign up and pay for Scooty ERP.
Dealership operational data (your End Customers are the data subject; you control it, we process it on your behalf): the customer names, phone numbers, vehicle chassis numbers, insurance details, and purchase/service history that you or your staff enter into the system to run your showroom. For this category, you are the data controller and we are the data processor — you are responsible for having the right to collect and store this information about your own customers, and for responding to their requests about it.
If your subscription lapses, your data is not deleted. Your account moves to an "Expired" status and access is paused until payment is confirmed; your data is preserved so you can resume exactly where you left off.
